The Courier of Montgomery County wrote June 19, 2013: “Bonnie Quinn, who died about nine years ago, opened up her house, offering refuge and compassion to recovering addicts. Once an alcoholic herself, Quinn found sobriety by following the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and stayed sober for 19 years. During that time, she opened her one-story home on Silverdale Street to people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. When she had the money, she would build on, adding more rooms and beds.”
